The European Commission Representation in Ireland, in co-operation with European Movement Ireland, is delighted to invite you to the latest Citizens’ Dialogue on “Ireland & Europe – Where Are We Headed? A particular focus will be on Ireland’s position in Europe after Brexit. The event is on Thursday 21 November from 18.00 – 20.30 in UCC’s Executive Education Centre, Lapp’s Quay.
The event is part of a series of ‘Citizens’ Dialogues’ that are being organised around the country on themes relating to the Future of Europe. So far these Dialogues have drawn in hundreds of people to discuss the diverse stories of Ireland’s four-decade-long relationship with Europe and to debate its future potential and challenges.
The event will also see the Cork launch of the European Commission’s new publication, ‘What’s the Story: 25 stories about Ireland and Europe’.
Key note speakers will include Gerry Kiely, Head of European Commission Representation in Ireland; Billy Kelleher Fianna Fáil MEP for Ireland South and Thia Hennessy, Dean of Cork University Business School.
