The European of the Year Award recognises and honours individuals and organisations that have made an outstanding contribution to promoting Ireland’s place in Europe and advancing the European agenda.
Since it was established in 1988, the title of European of the Year has been awarded to a distinguished list of individuals and organisations with backgrounds in the fields of arts and culture, business, politics, public administration, academia, civil society and public service.
