What you get

  • Briefing Services: Invitations for all Institution staff and students to attend EM Ireland’s regular information briefings on topical European and Irish issues, including bi-annual Council Presidency Forecasts and other high-level events.
  • Members’ Materials: Staff and students of Third-Level members access to monthly e-bulletins, including Oireachtas Committee Reports, information on EU funding opportunities and details of open Commission Consultations; quarterly e-newsletters featuring details on EM Ireland campaigns, projects and events; and regular briefing reports on topical European and Irish political issues. Staff and students are also entitled to discounts on all EM Ireland publications and reports.
  • Training Services and Presentations: Access to, and discounts on, EM Ireland’s range of training services and presentations on European issues, including briefings on The EU and How it Works, topical European issues and Working and Interning in Europe. Bespoke presentation tailored to meet the needs and interests of various faculties and lecturers can also be devised and delivered by EM Ireland staff.
  • Consultation Services: Tailored consultation and research services to provide insight and expertise on areas of interest of the organisation and its staff.
  • Grad Jobs in Europe: As part of EM Ireland’s Grad Jobs in Europe campaign, weekly email updates on job and internship opportunities in Europe are available to all students and Careers Service staff; students are offered one-to-one internship application advice and guidance and both staff and students benefit from access to EM Ireland’s extensive network of Brussels contacts.
  • Academic Support: EM Ireland provides student and stagiaire members with direct access to EM Ireland’s research expertise through access to staff members and our growing archive of research material and briefing notes on European issues.
  • Networking events: Opportunity for staff and students to hear from expert speakers and engage with EM Ireland’s network of public representative and corporate members at information seminars, breakfast briefings and other events.
