European Movement Ireland and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung hosted an online event, ‘Supporting Democracy and Security: The War in Ukraine’.

This was the second event with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in 2022, all of which focus on the theme of Supporting Democracy. This event discussed the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the implications for European security and other policy areas. The discussion also examined the EU’s response to the war, Ukraine’s future in Europe and arising geopolitical developments.
