Roundtable Discussion: State of the European Union 2023 - What will it mean for Ireland?

Together with the European Parliament Liaison Office in Ireland and the European Commission Representation in Ireland, host an event with stakeholders and MEPs looking ahead to the upcoming State of the Union debate in the European Parliament with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

This event provided the opportunity for key Irish stakeholders to have their say on what they would like to hear in this year’s State of the Union address and debate.

Format:  Our panel of stakeholders spoke for five minutes each, highlighting three issues they want to hear about in the State of the Union debate, which will take place on 13 September in the European Parliament. This was followed by the MEPs responses to the points raised by the panel and will conclude with a Q&A session from the in person and online audience.
