This Townhall Meeting took place in The Abbey Hotel, Donegal on 10 March. This meeting provided an opportunity for attendees to discuss ideas about what Europe might look like in the next 5, 10, 20 years, as part of the Conference on the Future of Europe process taking place across the EU.
Minister of State for European Affairs, Thomas Byrne TD addressed the event and listened to people’s ideas on the Conference.
The topics that were discussed were Fundamental Rights and the Rule of Law, the Economy and Health. You can find some discussion papers here that have been developed with independent academics around Ireland.
