This Townhall Meeting took place in the Clayton Hotel in Cork City on 17 February. This meeting provided an opportunity for attendees to discuss ideas about what Europe might look like in the next 5, 10, 20 years, as part of the Conference on the Future of Europe process taking place across the EU.
Minister of State for European Affairs, Thomas Byrne TD addressed the event and listened to people’s ideas on the Conference.
The topics that were discussed were Education, and the EU’s place in the World. You can find some discussion papers here that have been developed with independent academics around Ireland.
