European Movement Ireland is delighted to host our Briefing on the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the EU.
We were joined by the Ambassador of Spain to Ireland, H.E. Ion de la Riva Guzmán de Frutos and Minister of State for European Affairs, Peter Burke TD. This event discussed the vision and priorities of the Spanish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
H.E. Ion de la Riva, Ambassador of Spain to Ireland provided EM Ireland members and stakeholders with an overview and the key priorities for the Presidency of the Council of the EU which runs from 1 July to 31 December 2023.
