Launch of Ireland’s strategy to increase Irish representation in the EU’s Institutions and Agencies

We are delighted to invite you to the online launch event of “A Career for EU”, Ireland’s new strategy to increase Irish representation in the EU’s Institutions and Agencies hosted by the Department of Foreign Affairs in co-operation with European Movement Ireland.

Minister of State for European Affairs, Thomas Byrne T.D., will present the new strategy and give an outline of the measures that the Government will take over the coming years to increase the number of Irish people applying for and securing roles within the European Institutions and Agencies.

The publication of the strategy follows a public consultation, which was launched by Minister Byrne at the end of 2020. The strategy builds on the very helpful feedback provided by members of the public, with the aim of encouraging more Irish people to consider the interesting variety of career opportunities offered by the EU.
