Since the start of 2018, people living in Ireland have been coming together to look at Ireland’s role in Europe, and how they would like it to develop in the future. This conversation has taken many forms – submissions to the European Commission, lectures, Citizens’ Dialogues, community group events, meetings. At each event, we heard diverse opinions as people looked at the EU with a constructively critical eye. They’ve discussed how we Ireland’s role in the EU should evolve to meet our needs both now and in the future.
People have talked, and we’re listening.
As people continue to share their opinions with us, we’ll be adding their voices to this page. We want to reflect how our relationship with Europe should look in the future.
