European Movement Ireland’s European of the Year Award recognises and honours individuals and or organisations for their outstanding contribution in promoting Ireland’s place in Europe and to the development of the European agenda.
Since it was established in 1988, the title of European of the Year has been awarded to a distinguished list of individuals with backgrounds in politics, public service, civil society, the arts, business, sport, entertainment.
