On Wednesday, 20 November 2013, Senator Jillian van Turnhout launched the Final Report on EM Ireland’s flagship Presidency Programme, Youth Media and the Irish Presidency (YMIP).
YMIP is an all-Ireland programme which aims to open up the Irish Presidency of the Council of the European Union to the young people of Ireland by recruiting a team of 25 young citizen journalists to report on the Presidency and broader European affairs.
The Report, entitled Irish Presidency of the EU: A Youth Perspective gathers together a selection of the young citizen journalists’ coverage of the Irish Presidency, insights from our partner organisations, and the outcomes and conclusions of YMIP.
If you would like to learn more about YMIP, have a look at the YMIP section of the EM Ireland website.
