In the run-up to the Referendum on the Fiscal Stability Treaty last May, EM Ireland produced a series of infosheets aimed at providing Irish citizens with independent, unbiased information regarding the Treaty’s content, potential impact and progress around Europe.
These Just the Facts Fiscal Treaty Infosheets were designed to explain the Treaty’s provisions in clear, accessible language and dispel any myths about the potential consequences of a ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ vote.
As a part of this information campaign, the Just the Facts Treaty Ratification Map was created to detail the ratification progress of the Treaty across EU member states. This map continues to be updated with details of the Treaty’s ratification progress around Europe.
On 21 December 2012, Finland became the twelfth Eurozone Member State to ratify the Fiscal Stability Treaty. The Treaty therefore entered into force on 1 January 2013. We have updated our Treaty Ratification Map to reflect this, and will continue to do so as it progresses across Europe.
This latest version of the Just the Facts Treaty Ratification Map is now available to view and download: Fiscal Stability Treaty Ratification Map.
