Conference: Investing in Ireland’s Infrastructure

Briefing on the Slovak Presidency of the Council of the EU – Event is now full.

**Please note: This event is now full and we can no longer accept RSVPs**   Join the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic to Ireland, H.E. Dušan Matulay, and Minister of State for European Affairs, Data Protection and EU Digital Single Market, Dara Murphy TD, for our second Presidency Briefing of 2016, as we look to the Slovak Presidency of the Council of the EU, which will run from 1 July to 31 December 2016.

At this event, Ambassador Matulay will offer EM Ireland members an overview of the plans and priorities of the Slovak Presidency, which will take over from the Dutch Presidency on 1 July 2016.

Minister Murphy will discuss Ireland’s current relations with the EU and what we can expect for the rest of this year.

EM Ireland’s Slovak Presidency Calendar will be launched at this event and copies will be available for audience members.

The EU Referendum and the Impact on Northern Ireland

EM Northern Ireland, in cooperation with EM Ireland, is delighted to invite you to a free public event in Queen’s University, Belfast to discuss the upcoming EU referendum and the impact on Northern Ireland.

Confirmed speakers include representatives from EM Northern Ireland, EM Ireland and Irish4Europe, as well as Professor David Phinnemore (Queen’s University, Belfast), Dr Heather Johnson (Queen’s University, Belfast), Quintin Oliver (Stratagem International), Angela McGowan (Danske Bank), Mark Cosgrove (Redhead International) and John McCallister (former MLA, farmer).
