Single Market Month, which began on 23 September with a series of online debates on employment and how to find work, continues with a debate on Banks.
The debate on Banks will give participants the chance to network with other citizens, businesses and interest organisations in Europe. In addition, they will be able to connect with EU leaders and policy-makers. During the debate on Banks, questions such as: what more could be done to protect consumer rights, prevent another financial crisis, and make sure that banks invest in the real economy to foster growth? will be discussed.
The aim of the Single Market Month is to collect ideas for new EU policies, or suggestions for what the EU could do better. This will allow EU leaders to better understand the situation on the ground and to promote new policy initiatives.
